= Drawing Pictures While Teaching Japanese
, 2000 ISBN: 487138196x 810.72 NAG

Drawing pictures in the classroom is a very useful skill for all language teachers and speech therapists. Particularly when you teach a language only with the target language, pictures give students a lot of information. The author emphasises the importance of drawing only the essential part of the object quickly and that there is no need to be a professional illustrator in the classroom. Chapter 1 gives you tips on how to draw simple illustrations and make them look attractive and distinctive; for example you can draw the difference between men and women, old and young. Chapter 2 explains practical teaching methods using the drawings in various learning situations.
