The
crossword puzzles included in this book are designed for learning
or reviewing Japanese vocabulary at a low intermediate level. The
puzzles in this book are presented in two sections; clues in Japanese
and crossword answers in English, and clues in English with crossword
answers in Japanese. Each puzzle is based on a particular topic related
to daily activities or other topics of study common to Japanese language
classes. You may modify the level of the puzzles if you find them
too difficult for your students, for example by giving some rarely
used words on the student sheets, or suggesting the number of letters
and words used in a grid line. |

The
music scores of 50 Japanese children's songs from Anime, Japanese
TV shows, Disney musicals and old kids' favourites are included in
this book.
Each song is supported with a piano accompaniment in C. All lyrics
are transcribed in Hiragana or Katakana. These features make preparation
for singing in Japanese easier for both teachers and students. A demo
CD for this book is separately registered and also available for library
loan. |

Particles
are only a small part of the Japanese lexicon, but are necessary for
authentic sounding Japanese. Japanese language teachers find them
difficult to teach because particles in isolation have no semantic
"meaning" and native Japanese speakers also find particles hard to
explain because they have acquired these small words as part of their
first language. This book covers over 70 particles, from the most
common to the less frequent. They are shown to have some 200 different
usages with Kanji-Kana Japanese sentences. Romaji sentences and English
translations are also included. This book is a good source of examples
of grammatical particles in real life use. |
